The Belgravia Suite, The Library Bar, Withdrawing Room, St Georges, Céleste Restaurant, all public corridors, The Royal Suite and 20 Bathrooms.
The scope of our work at London’s prestigious Lanesborough was extremely varied. Larger works included an 80m² Trompe l’Oeil of tented fabric in the Queens Entrance, 1100m² of faux stone finishes to the corridors and stairways in the public areas and the delicate application of over 6000 books of gold leaf to ceilings and woodwork throughout the renovation project. We also provided intricate stencil work for the Céleste Restaurant, chinoiserie-style artwork for bespoke vanity units, hand painted marbling of decorative columns in the iconic Withdrawing Room, and Trompe l’Oeil graining to the lift doors to each of the 4 landings and the internal of the lifts carts.
Our team of 15 highly skilled craftspeople worked very closely with BECK project team, project architects ReardonSmith and the project designers Alberto Pinto, ensuring the clients brief was met in full and finished to the very highest quality.
