Stone Blocking
Stone blocking is a specialist art technique that uses paint effects to recreate different types of dressed stone. Also known as faux stone blocking, it enhances spaces and adds interest to walls and other surfaces.
We produce stone blocking finishes to meet your specific requirements, treating each block separately for a convincing appearance. Afterwards, we paint on details to replicate natural characteristics in the mortar lines and various stones.
Using a build up of glazes and textured finishes, we can also create a variety of surfaces for an even more realistic effect. To further add to the illusion, a trompe l'oeil mural is ideal for giving a sense of depth.
