Established in 1987, Angel provides specialist decoration, restoration and finishes for the world's finest, most breathtaking and most intricate interiors.
We produce heavenly decorative schemes for both modern properties and prestigious historical buildings, which we restore and conserve using in-depth research for painstaking detail.
Using the highest standards of craftsmanship, we create ornate, complex and beautiful décor. We specialise in fine painting, oil and water gilding, and paint effects like graining and marbling.
With clients worldwide, we've worked on projects in locations such as the Middle East and Europe. We collaborate with top designers and architects on high-profile commercial and residential properties.
Gary Butcher
Managing Director
Gary completed his apprenticeship with Campbell Smith & Co, one of the UK's leading painters and gilders. He also received training from Peter White, a student of the master marbler and grainer, Parry.
When Gary completed his apprenticeship aged 19, he became Campbell Smith & Co's youngest ever foreman and took charge of many high-profile jobs for the next decade.
He then formed his own business, Finishing Touches, which merged with Angel in 2000 following a collaborative relationship.
